ABC Fun Pads began when two parents searched all the baby stores, all the discount stores and all the furniture stores trying to find a product that met their needs. They wanted something that would fit and protect their coffee table but everything they found was too thin or not fitted and just didn't seem right.

unique baby gift After finding nothing that met their needs they started to think that the table cover should not only protect the table, but it would also be neat if it had some sort of activity on it. Jody and Steve, founders of ABC Fun Pads, experimented with plain material that could be written on, they tried different patterns and eventually they made themselves the first ABC Fun Pad. Their table was now protected and their kids, as well as their friends' kids, were finally allowed to play around it.

After creating the first ABC Fun Pad, every other mom in the family wanted one, then all of their friends, then all of their friend's friends and so on… unique baby gift And, that is how ABC Fun Pads was born. ABC Fun Pads is a homegrown business that started in Jody and Steve's garage in sunny Southern California.

Fun Pad Product Safety

ABC Fun Pads serve many purposes but foremost is protecting your children and your coffee table from bumps and bruises. The pads provide a place for children to play and for adults to gather for entertaining and special events. You will not be disappointed with the convenience and quality of our product.

Let the artist in your children blossom. When your children are done playing with cars and dolls, just reverse the pad and they will have their very own drawing canvas. Using washable markers, let your children draw anything their imagination can create. This huge canvas can be used again and again, simply throw it in the wash and a clean canvas appears.

Use the ABC Fun Pad as a Serving Pad
Spruce up your coffee table at those special events with the ABC Fun Pad, replacing fitted tablecloths. It's great for hors-d'oeuvres, chips & dip or warm tray items. Guests can place food and drinks on your table without having to look for a coaster or towel.

Protect Your Coffee Table
Most children love running their toys over coffee tables, but we don't want them to for fear they will scratch or dent the table. Having the Fun Pad on your table will let you lighten up a little. Your children will love the fact that they can play next to and on the table without getting yelled at, and you can relax and enjoy playtime.

ABC Fun Pad Size
Currently there is only one size 45" wide by 72" long. It fits tables from 20" x 48" (smallest) to 40" x 68" (largest) which fits most standard sized rectangular or oval shaped tables. ABC Fun Pads help protect against bumps and bruises that are common around coffee tables by dulling the edges and it works great for child proofing. This will help when your little ones are learning to crawl, pull themselves up or start walking. Although we can't prevent all accidents from happening, we can help minimize the effect and injury. The elastic in the Fun Pad helps hold the pad in place around your coffee table, so when your children are trying to pull themselves up, the pad will not slip off easily. ABC Fun Pads will work great as one of your baby safety products.
