fragrance Randy Whittington, Co-Owner, shows one of the containers that the fragrance oils come in.
| Melt! Gary Jordon, Co-Owner, places a 50 LB block of wax into one of the wax vats to be melted. |
Mix and mix... Randy stirs a vat of melted wax, with fragrance oils, color dyes, and UV protection before pouring into glass containers.
| Position Glass containers are positioned for the melted candle wax to be poured into them. This is the first pour of a two-pour process. |
Pour One Gary pours the melted candle wax into the glass containers and adds the wick.
| Cool! Randy and Gary take a moment to move a table of poured candle wax to a holding area for cooling. |
Pour Two Before completely cooling, the wick is centered and straightened (left). Once cooled, a 2nd pour occurs to top the candle, which gives you a full, smooth surfaced candle (right).
| Done! Once cooled, the finished candles are placed on storage shelves, waiting to be pulled for shipment. |
